normal is: „ conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected, (…) the usual, average, or typical state or condition (…) a person who is conventional or healthy.“ ( oxford dictionaries)
Are the minorities, which are caused by this, abnormal? Why is abnormal associated with something negative?
This idea of normal, influences our social behaviour and expectations on a daily basis.
The role of the media in this „ game“ of expectations and acceptance, increasingly take on the function of a judge, jury and executioner of the normal.
This performance aims at the creation of a non manipulated space, in which guidlines are individual and not imposed on the performer.
